Открытый урок английского языка в 6-м классе по теме «Celebrations»

Тип занятия: комбинированный урок.

Цели:



обобщить и закрепить лексический материал по теме;



закрепить грамматические формы настоящего продолженного времени.

Задачи урока:



формировать лексические умения и навыки в устной речи (умение рассказывать о

праздниках, используя настоящее продолженное время);



формировать грамматические навыки на материале настоящего продолженного

времени;



отработать навыки произношения;



развивать владение всеми видами речевой деятельности (аудирование, говорение,

чтение);



развивать воображения и умения моделировать ситуацию общения;



воспитывать уважение к традициям и обычаям, как части культуры разных стран

мира;



прививать любовь и интерес к иностранному языку.

Оборудование: проектор, картинки по теме « Праздники», презентация, раздаточный

материал, учебник.

ХОД УРОКА

I. Организационный момент

1. Приветствие

– Warming up.

– Good morning, children! Sit down,please.

– There are a lot of festivals in Great Britain and in Russia. Слайд 1

– What are your associations with the word Festival? (brainstorming)

Дети называют слова, фразы, которые ассоциируются у них со словом праздник. (Слова

крепятся на доску)

– Good. I want you to remember the different festivals. Look at the screen.

– Can you name them? Дети называют праздники по картинкам, которые видят на экране.

– New year, Christmas, Thanksgiving Day, St.Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Halloween,

Maslenitsa, May Day.

– When do people celebrate them? The task is on the screen. Fill in the gaps. (Дети вставляют

слова – праздники в предложения и зачитывают их, произнося правильно даты)

1. … is on October 31th.

2. … day is on March 17 th.

3. … day is on January 1 st.

4. … is on the 4 th Thursday in November.

5. … is on the 14 th of February

6. … is on the 24 th of December.

7. … is on the 1 st of May. (Проверяется задание с помощью экрана)

– Well done. Do you know anything about these festivals? (Дети говорят свои

предложения).

– Now I want you to look at the pictures on the blackboard and repeat the words and phrases

after me.

– Make the decorations, make tea, make a special dish, make a cake, do the shopping, blow a

party horn, dance, sing, play the drums, wear costumes, exchange gifts, watch parades, watch a

firework display. (Дети по картинкам повторяют ранее изученную лексику, фонетически

правильно проговаривая слова)

– Good. Let’s play with a ball. Now answer my questions, please.

(Дети отвечают на вопросы, закрепляя время Present Continuous в речи.)

– Can you tell me, children? What’s the theme of our lesson today? (Дети, просмотрев

музыкальный отрывок, называют тему урока.) CELEBRATION

– You are right. Let’s go to the party.

Подготовка к прослушиванию (pre-listening exercises)

– The new words are on the blackboard. Look at them. They are from a dialogue. Let’s translate

these words and phrases.

– Yeah! Слово «О, да» синоним слову yes. Оно используется в разговорной речи и часто в

песнях. (Пояснение учителя)

каком празднике говорили дети?» Ответ – Halloween.)
